Emma Wall joined us in Rotorua for a house concert as part of her NZ Solo ‘Shiny New Toy’ album release tour. She played in 6 venues – Southern Cross (Wellington), St Peter’s Hall (Paekakariki), Cabana (Napier), Rhythm (NP), The Rogue Stage (Rotorua) and The Wine Cellar (Auckland) with her band members – The Urban Folk. Along the way she met up with NZ musicians and together put on heartfelt shows which was reflected in the sincere comments the day after.
It was a privilege to host Emma and Renee. Both are exceedingly witty and brimming with humorous obscenities to make you giggle for a day or two. Musically Emma is an artist whose songs come from deep within. She walks barefeet on the stage, strums her first chord and from the first note, you know its going to be great. Emma has a deep spiritual element to her work and we are so grateful for the joy she created. We will all remember her classic roll on roll off!
A handful of happy souls returned to their normal everyday lives, richer in knowing that they have heard Emma Wall live.
Big love n blessings,
