Friends return to The Rogue Stage on Sunday for a feisty ‘stage off’! Albi and the Wolves take on Looking for Alaska for this unusual twist on a live music show.
For one weekend only, Looking For Alaska NZ and Albi and The Wolves will be piling into a van and heading to Gisborne, Hastings and Rotorua to take to the stage for battle!
Armed only with a guitar, a fiddle and an upright bass, Albi & The Wolves’ high energy blend of swing, bluegrass, soul, r&b, rock and world music will be sure to get everyone’s toes tapping. But Looking For Alaska are ready to meet the challenge, and get the audience on their feet with their thigh-slapping, foot-stomping folk sing-alongs before bringing them to their knees with their poignant heart-rending ballads.
Who will win over the audience?? You’ll just have to come along and find out…
Performing in the beautiful Monarch Room hosted by The Rogue Stage, doors open at 6:30 with music starting at 7.
Presale tickets are $15, with limited door sales available for $20 on the night. Presales available online from Eventfinda.
Tea n Happiness will also be there with Seitan wraps, teas and kombucha and mouthwatering desserts.
Princes Gate will also be serving food from their kitchen.
See you Sunday folks!
